As for the violence, like the citizens of the DCU, I am gutted.
Clearly, we just have different opinions on what a "brightest day" would be. Me? I'd hope for some ice cream and maybe something good on TV. In the DCU, it's being impaled on drumsticks.

It was tough to watch the innocent Rock Band-playing family get slashed apart. Not exactly Bright.

Don't you love how the cover suggests the story will focus around Aquaman? Yet they are only seen in one panel of the whole book?
